As an Office Agent, you'll be responsible for the documentary handling of cargo and mail, ensuring smooth and accurate processing under professional supervision.This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our unique and rewarding environment!TasksThe Cargo Documentation Agent / Administrative Support is responsible for:Documentary AcceptancesShipment Data CapturePrioritization of Export Build-up and Import BreakdownPreparation of Export and Import documentation (Manifest, AWBs)Handling of irregularities (MSCA, MSAW, FDCA, damages)Preparation NOTOCClose out flightHandling of irregularities (MSCA, MSAW, FDCA, damages)Customer contact (Notify customer)Hand over AWB and Docs to customerDebit chargesLocal / Regional SpecificsGeneral Administrative SupportSupply OrderingMonitoring of various stats including attendance/tardiness.IT User AdminMonitoring of training, maintenance of training folders.Basic accounting functions as backup to Cargo Acctg AgentParticipate in other duties as assignedRequirementsTo excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications:High school diploma/GED desirableProfessional experience desirableFluency in English language requiredComputer skills as userGood cost consciousnessStrong detail orientedStrong communication skillsGood understanding of mathematical conceptsGood problem solvingStrong quality consciousnessStrong productivity drivenStrong reasoning abilityStrong safety and securityMust be willing to work shiftsManage constant time pressureManage high stress levelsMust possess a legal work permit in the U.S.CV/Resume & Cover Leter requiredCompany may provide relocation assistanceAbout Lufthansa Cargo AGLufthansa Cargo Aktiengesellschaft, headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, is a subsidiary of Deutsche Lufthansa Aktiengesellschaft.
