Job Title: MS/Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: 2 years of experience required License: SC license or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH required Must-Have: Med/Surg experience required Description: Position/Specialty: MS/Tele RN Shift: 3x12s, Days (7a-7p) Ratios: 1:6-1:7 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend On-call Requirement: No Will need to float to like units with like patients to meet facility needs. First-timers accepted: No, must have travel experience. Must complete all assigned modules prior to start date. Attendance at staff meetings is required. Must have experience in telemetry and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. The facility has a total of 97 staffed beds. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. All requested time off must be included at the time of submission. A documented medical reason is required after two call outs for cancellation of contract. Candidates must have proof of SC license or confirmation of the application for it. Previous permanent staff must be separated from the system for one year before returning as a traveler. RTO guidelines require that if a candidate has more than 7 days of requested time off, it will need to be submitted for approval.
