The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing support and expertise necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables, and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting status/progress.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for maintaining mission-critical .NET web applications using an Oracle database. The ideal candidate will be able to take ownership of the codebase and provide recommendations to stakeholders.Creates and executes DDL and DML statementsCorrect bugs and handle production support for the applicationsImplement enhancements for the applicationsManage version control for the existing teamWork and report within an Agile FrameworkCreate documentation for legacy applications, such as data dictionariesQualificationsBachelor's DegreePrevious work experience with databases in a Production environmentPrevious work experience with .NETProven understanding of version control and deployment pipelines: i.e. Git, GitLab, GitHub, Git Actions, SVNPrevious work experience with Oracle databasesPrevious work experience with C#, Javascript, Typescript, SQL, HTML, CSSExperience with Metastorm BPM development platformASP.NET Architecture (Intermediate)Oracle Databases (Intermediate)GIT Version Control System (Intermediuate)Clear written and verbal communications skills (English)Must be able to work independently, with minimal oversight.Excellent communication, critical thinking and problem-solvingAbout UsSoft Tech Consulting, Inc. is a woman and minority-owned business headquartered in Chantilly, VA.
