Water Well Drilling Assistant
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drill Rig Assistant to join our
team in the water well industry located in Ault, CO.
The ideal candidate must have a strong mechanical background and experience with various drilling Methods (mud and air rotary). As a Drillers assistant, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and operation of drilling equipment and ensure the safe and efficient execution of drilling projects.
CDL is beneficial.
Responsibilities
Operate drilling rigs and associated equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment, including and support equipment.
Maintain accurate records of drilling operations, including depth, and other relevant data.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment and a solid understanding of drilling operations.
Requirements
Prior experience working on water well rigs preferred. but not necessary.
Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, forklifts, or water trucks.
Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery and pipeline systems.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction safety compliance.
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one; experience with tanker trucks is a plus.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, standing, walking, and operating machinery for extended periods.
Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in oil & gas or related industries preferred. Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
