Senior Product Owner

Sr. Product OwnerThe Sr. Product Owner is responsible for defining product vision, roadmap, and backlog while working closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, technologists, SMEs, and business stakeholders. The role ensures product capabilities align with business goals, manages backlog prioritization, defines acceptance criteria, and supports Agile delivery practices to ensure successful product outcomes.Responsibilities:Lead the efforts of defining the Product Backlog by working closely with Business Analysts, Architects, Technologists, SMEs, and business owners.Define the Product Roadmap and align it with the Product Vision to develop epics and features.Work with Business Analysts to create user stories that accurately reflect desired product capabilities.Build and manage the Product Backlog and review it with business owners to determine business value and priority.Define acceptance criteria and approve or reject development team deliverables.Guide Business Analysts in breaking down the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) into user stories.Provide expertise in writing effective user stories and improving backlog grooming processes.Engage with clients, internal and external business partners, and stakeholders to provide information about the product.Support cultural change initiatives to improve Agile delivery practices.Coach team members who are new to Scrum and Agile methodologies.Support team building and development by fostering collaboration and feedback.Mentor Product Owners to ensure their effectiveness and success.Experience:6 years of experience in IT and business analysis, business development, solutions development, systems analysis, technical design or development, or implementation.OR 4 years of experience as a Product Owner.Skills:Strong knowledge of business and management principles.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of project planning and lifecycle development.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Qualification And Education:Bachelors Degree in Product Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.In lieu of a Bachelors degree, additional relevant work experience may be considered.Should Have:Previous healthcare experience.Advanced degree.
