Travel CVICU Registered Nurse - $2,319 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - CVICU Night Shift Location Traveling position. Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour night shifts, including weekends as scheduled. Job Description The CVICU unit accommodates 18 beds with mixed acuity, providing care for fresh hearts, devices, ICU status patients, and step-down status patients. RNs will be responsible for managing multiple complex cardiac conditions and post-operative care. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 care for fresh hearts and devices, and 1:2/1:3 ratios for ICU and step-down patients respectively. Administer and titrate various drips as required, including Cardizem, Nitroglycerin, and others. Collaborate with RTs and other healthcare professionals for 24/7 care provision. Utilize monitor techs while being responsible for reading own strips. Participate in clinical team support and patient management protocols. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure BLS and ACLS certification required. Experience with fresh open heart patients and post-operative care. Experience with CRRT, temporary and permanent pacemakers. Knowledge of ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring.
