Collaborating with both public and private partners, we strive for a world where all people are empowered to live healthy, productive lives.The Project Director of Suicide Care Policy and Health System Transformation at the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention (Action Alliance) to provide strategic leadership for a portfolio of privately funded initiatives focused on advancing evidence-based suicide care across the U.S. health system.The Action Alliance is the nation's leading public-private partnership for suicide prevention and is responsible for advancing the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention.In this role, you will lead high-impact efforts to drive the adoption of best practices in suicide care across health care delivery, financing, and policy systems. You will shape long-term strategies, guide complex projects, and collaborate with national partners to advance meaningful systems change.ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership and oversight for a portfolio of national initiatives focused on suicide care policy and health system transformationLead multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables are completed on time and within budgetDevelop and implement strategies to expand adoption of evidence-based suicide care practices across health systems and payersCollaborate closely with internal leadership to align efforts across Action Alliance initiativesBuild and sustain relationships with health plans, health systems, policymakers, funders, and national partnersFacilitate collaboration and consensus among diverse stakeholders to advance shared goalsRepresent EDC and the Action Alliance at national meetings, conferences, and external forumsServe as a subject matter expert on suicide care within national strategy and evaluation effortsQualificationsEducation:Master's degree in public health, health policy, social sciences, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Skills & Experience:Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives, ideally at a national levelStrong partnership-building and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with executive-level leadersAbility to translate strategy into actionable plans and manage multiple priorities effectivelyExperience leading project teams and delivering high-quality results in a dynamic environmentKnowledge of or ability to develop expertise in suicide prevention, public health, or health system transformationPreferred Education, Skills & Experience:Master's degree in public health, behavioral health, or a related field.10+ years of experience advancing strategic priorities across complex healthcare environments.Deep expertise in healthcare financing, systems, quality measurement, accreditation, and/or regulatory policy.Recognized expertise in suicide prevention, including leadership of programs grounded in public health and community-based approaches.Experience convening and leading senior-level coalitions and cross-sector partnerships.Proven ability to represent organizations in national policy, conference, and stakeholder settings.Familiarity with national frameworks such as the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention.Additional InformationPlease submit the following required documents via Smart Recruiter:Cover letter.Current CV or resume.Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
