This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for masonry and facade construction projects. The ideal candidate has strong experience in masonry construction, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with project teams to develop cost-effective project solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for masonry and facade projectsReview construction drawings, specifications, and bid documentsAnalyze project requirements including materials, labor, and timeSolicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bidsWork closely with architects, contractors, and project managers during the bidding processIdentify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving solutionsMaintain accurate estimate records and documentationSupport project teams during project handoff after contract awardQualificationsExperience in masonry construction or NYC construction projectsPrior experience as an estimator or project manager in constructionStrong knowledge of construction estimating and project management softwareAdvanced Excel and computer skillsExcellent analytical skills and strong attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesStrong communication and teamwork skillsPreferredExperience with large commercial or residential masonry projectsFamiliarity with NYC building codes and construction standards
