IntroductionIBM's Chief Sustainability Office is seeking a skilled and mission-driven Software Developer to design, build, and deploy AI-enabled solutions that accelerate IBM's sustainability strategy. This role sits at the intersection of advanced technology and environmental impact leveraging AI, data, and software engineering to help drive measurable progress across climate, energy, and sustainable materials initiatives. You will work closely with sustainability domain experts, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate complex environmental challenges into scalable digital solutions. From building generative AI-powered tools to enabling data-driven decision-making systems, this role will contribute directly to IBM's efforts to embed sustainability into core business operations and innovation pipelines.
