Maintenance Technician (United Energy Necedah)

Position Summary This position is responsible for the repair, and preventative maintenance of the manufacturing equipment required for ethanol production. This position also performs all government agency-required inspections regularly to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations per operating permits. Duties & Responsibilities: Centrifuge service and maintenance. Maintain and implement all necessary lubrication and greasing of equipment on a plant-wide basis. Diaphragm pump preventative maintenance and repair as required. Centrifugal pump service and alignment. Rolling stock operation, maintenance, service, and repairs as needed. Review the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement. Perform maintenance throughout the facility, as specified by MAPCON software generated work orders and preventive maintenance work orders. Perform all required governmental agency inspections and complete the necessary documentation.
