Tax Administrator

Currently, we are partnered with a preferred client in Rochester, NY in search of a talented Tax Administrator.Job Summary:The Tax Administrator will be primarily responsible for timely and accurately processing all incoming tax correspondence, managing property tax invoices, and providing overall support for the tax team.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Receive, identify, and sort all incoming tax mailMonitor, track receipt, prepare payment and store notices and property tax billsMaintain electronic filing systems in alignment with company policies and proceduresE-file sales and use returns, ensuring all filings are done on a timely basisGenerate tax-related forms such as W9 and exemptions certificate requestsMaintain customer tax exemption records ensuring accuracy and completenessQualifications:Degree or Certificate in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred)2+ years' experience in similar roleKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Excellent oral and written communication abilitiesStrong attention to detail and accuracySelf-starter with both independent and team collaboration capabilitiesStrong organizational and time-management skillsMust be flexible and accountable when there are approaching deadlinesScreening Questions:Do you have a degree or certificate in accounting, finance, or a related field?Do you have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role?For confidential, immediate consideration, please apply with a formal copy of your resume along with your salary expectations and answers to all outlined screening questions.Scale Beyond the Talent Barhttps://nwtalentsolutions.com/
