Part-Time Accounting & Administrative Assistant
Location: Gnadenhutten, OhioPosition Type: Part-Time (20-30 hours per week)Department: Accounting/Human ResourcesCompensation Range: $18.00 - $24.00Position OverviewThe Part-Time Accounting & Administrative Assistant will primarily support accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), reconciliations, and financial record-keeping, while also assisting with general administrative tasks, human resources projects, and office coordination. This role requires strong accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Support:Perform accurate and timely data entry for Accounts Payable (AP) invoicesAssist in generating Accounts Receivable (AR) invoices for customersPost cash receipts and complete bank adjustments as neededSupport account reconciliations and maintain organized financial recordsAssist with additional accounting tasks as assignedAdministrative Support:Greet and assist office guests in a professional mannerEnsure office supplies are stocked and availableAssist HR with projects and data entrySchedule employee lunches for plant meetingsSupport general office operations as neededQualifications & SkillsPrevious accounting experience preferred, including AP/AR and reconciliationsStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Excellent organizational and data-entry skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic environmentExperience with accounting software is a plusWork EnvironmentManufacturing plant settingPart-time schedule (hours to be discussed)Opportunity to work closely with accounting, HR, and administrative teamsAbout UsAt TuscoMFG, we operate on three core values: Respect, Accountability, and Initiative.
