Accounting ClerkWest Chester, OhioPay: $20-$22 per hourSchedule: 1st shift, Monday-FridayOur client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day accounting operations at their West Chester, Ohio location. This is a first-shift opportunity offering competitive hourly pay and a collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting with a focus on accuracy.Job ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable and/or accounts receivable transactions, including invoice entry and payment applicationReview, code, and match invoices to supporting documentationAssist with billing, cash posting, and account reconciliationsMaintain accurate and organized financial recordsResolve invoice or payment discrepancies with internal teams and external vendorsSupport month-end close activities as neededPerform data entry and general accounting support tasksCommunicate effectively with internal departments regarding accounting questionsQualificationsPrior experience in an accounting clerk, accounts payable, or accounts receivable role preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyBasic knowledge of general accounting principlesProficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with accounting or ERP systems is a plusAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesStrong organizational and communication skillsBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
