Forklift Driver

```Duties``` - Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and retrieve materials within a distribution center or warehouse - Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of products - Perform order picking and packing duties as required - Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs - Assist with inventory management by accurately recording stock movements ```Experience``` - Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting - Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks - Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting - Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order picking processes - Ability to work under the supervision of a warehouse supervisor and follow instructions accurately Skills: - Forklift operation: Demonstrated ability to safely operate forklifts and handle materials efficiently - Distribution center experience: Understanding of warehouse operations and processes within a distribution center environment - Clamp truck operation: Proficiency in operating clamp trucks for handling specific types of loads - Mechanical knowledge: Basic understanding of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure safe and efficient operations - Warehouse supervisor: Ability to work under the supervision of a warehouse supervisor and follow instructions accurately - Order picking: Experience with order picking processes, including using handheld devices or pick lists to fulfill customer orders - Equipment repair: Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and ability to identify and report any repair needs promptly - Warehouse management: Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and stock movement coordination - Load/unload: Skill in safely loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper stacking, securing, and documentation of products - Materials handling: Proficiency in handling various types of materials, including fragile or hazardous items Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
