Material HandlerA material handler is responsible for the physical handling, movement, and storage of goods within a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing facility. They ensure materials are organized, tracked, and delivered to the correct locations in a timely manner, contributing to the overall efficiency of the operation.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely load and unload incoming shipments from trucks and other vehicles, often using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.Place received materials in their designated storage areas, ensuring they are organized and accessible.Pick and pack materials to fulfill orders for customers or production, preparing them for shipment.Maintain accurate inventory records by counting incoming shipments, conducting cycle counts, and monitoring stock levels.Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and handheld scanners, to move and track materials efficiently.Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, and keep work areas, including loading docks, clean and clear of debris.Skills & QualificationsAbility to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs.), stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage inventory and maintain a structured warehouse environment.Basic computer skills for data entry into inventory management systems and the ability to use scanners.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with supervisors and colleagues.EOE, including disability/vets
