Animal Breeder I

About the Role:We are looking for a professional to join our livestock operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing essential animal husbandry tasks and herd management activities. This position covers everything from calving assistance and daily feeding to monitoring livestock health, branding, and performing basic maintenance on ranch equipment and facilities.-We are welcoming applications from candidates currently based in Mexico, as well as those already in the U.S. holding an active TN Visa, who are open to relocating to Montana.Key Responsibilities:• Assist with calving and provide support during birthing complications• Feed cattle and distribute mineral supplements• Monitor livestock health and administer basic treatments when needed• Brand calves, support preconditioning and weaning activities• Maintain fences, water systems, and livestock facilities• Operate and perform basic maintenance on ranch equipment• Maintain accurate operational and medical records• Safely move and handle cattle throughout the operationRequirements:• Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Poultry Science, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)• Experience working with cattle operations or livestock production• Comfortable with hands-on field work and outdoor environments• Basic mechanical/equipment maintenance skills are a plus• Legal Status: Active TN Visa OR eligible to apply for a TN Visa (based in Mexico) and open to relocation to Ekalaka, Montana.
