All Triad employees are expected to be flexible, though, so this job may require occasional field work or courthouse research of deeds and land records. Exposure to a wide variety of diverse responsibilities may include but not be limited to:Ensure safety is always prioritizedProvide excellent customer service to our clientsWork with professional staff to obtain project information, ensure drawings are accurate and complete, verify objectives, requirements and design approachReview field data to ensure all applicable standards are metKnows how to interpret control point records and data sheetsPerform and check survey calculations including volumes and areasPerform computations of line and grade to support construction layoutProcess and reduce field data for importation into CADDWork from drawings, sketches or scanned images, customer drawings, or government drawings / specificationsUse the accepted drawing standards as guidelinesPrepare final survey documents, drawings and reports in accordance with applicable standards.Self-check own work for completeness, accuracy, meeting standards, fits and stack-ups Research deeds and land records, and prepare deed composites to use in field reconnaissance and boundary determinationMay prepare cost and quantity estimates and/or design calculationsDesired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical school courses in computer-aided drafting desirable4 years of computer drafting experience2 to 3 years of survey work experienceKnowledgeable of surveying ethics and technical standardsKnowledge of the terminology and principles of conventional draftingWho We AreTriad Engineering, Inc.
