Trade Confirmation Analyst

Confidential Opportunity: Trade Confirmation AnalystPosition Overview A leading organization is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join its Back Office team within Finance. This role supports Trading, Supply, and Logistics functions and offers exposure to the full lifecycle of commercial transactions within a dynamic trading environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and issue contracts and confirmations for the purchase and sale of physical commodities, including both marine and non-marine transactionsPartner with Trading and Commercial teams to ensure contracts accurately reflect agreed terms and system recordsEnsure timely distribution of confirmations in accordance with contractual obligations and internal performance metricsReview and reconcile incoming counterparty and broker confirmations; identify and resolve discrepancies efficientlyMaintain organized records of all transaction-related correspondence within contract management systemsProcess electronic confirmations through designated platformsManage shared inbox communications, including incoming confirmations and related inquiriesAdhere to established procedures and policies; recommend process improvements where applicableEnsure compliance with internal record retention standardsQualificationsExperience drafting, reviewing, or interpreting contracts or legal documentsStrong understanding of key contractual terms and their business impact is preferredAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentHigh attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalismStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independentlyEffective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teamsProficiency in organizational and analytical tasks; familiarity with modern productivity tools is a plusTeam-oriented mindset with a proactive approachPreferred BackgroundBachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, Paralegal certification, or equivalent experienceExperience in a trading, commodities, or energy-related environment is a plusFamiliarity with contract lifecycle or confirmation processesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
