CNC Laser Punch Press Operator: Machesney Park, IllinoisOur customer in Machesney Park, Illinois, is looking for a skilled, detail-oriented individual to join their team as a CNC Laser Punch Press Operator to work full-time on 1st shift. In this role, you will operate a Trumpf combination laser punch machine to cut and punch sheet metal components while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.Responsibilities of the CNC Laser Punch Press Operator:Operate a Trumpf combination laser punch press to cut and punch sheet metal partsPerform machine setup, tooling changes, and basic adjustments as requiredLoad and unload raw materials safely and efficientlyCreate, load, and run programs to meet production specificationsMonitor machine operation to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiencyInspect finished parts to verify they meet specifications and tolerancesRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawingsUse precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and gaugesPerform basic troubleshooting and report mechanical issues as neededMaintain accurate production records and documentationKeep machines and work areas clean, organized, and safe at all timesCNC Laser Punch Press Operator Requirements and Qualifications:Previous experience operating CNC laser or punch press equipment requiredExperience with Trumpf laser/punch combination machines strongly preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and part specificationsUnderstanding of tolerances and quality requirementsExperience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesFamiliarity with TruTops or similar nesting/programming software preferredKnowledge of G-code and M-code preferredExperience with sheet metal fabrication processes preferredStrong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safetyPay: $23.00$25.00/hourCNC Laser Punch Press Operator Benefits:Health insurancePaid time off401k with company matchPaid weeklyDirect depositPaid trainingType: 1st Shift, Full-timeSchedule: 1st shift hours; exact schedule discussed during the interview
