A quick pivot to a Mazak HMC has you refining a Mazatrol program, blending in some G-code for complex features. With gauges in hand, you verify critical dimensions, collaborate with engineering to streamline a toolpath, and coach operators through a tricky setup. Before you wrap up, you document production data and leave a safe, organized work area ready for the next run.What you’ll doSet up and operate Mazak VMC and HMC equipment to meet specifications and timelines.Create and adjust CNC programs using Mazatrol and G-code for accurate, repeatable results.Perform tool changes, manage offsets, and fine-tune parameters for optimal cycle times and surface finish.Inspect parts with precision measuring instruments to ensure print compliance.Partner with engineering and production to improve machining processes and workflows.Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workstation.Troubleshoot machining issues and resolve problems quickly to minimize downtime.Record production data and maintain accurate job documentation.Lead and support a team of 2–3 milling operators, keeping work on track and assisting with issues as they arise.What you’ll bringHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical machining education/certification preferred.Demonstrated experience setting up and programming Mazak VMCs and HMCs.Fluency in Mazatrol and G-code programming.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Hands-on proficiency with precision measurement and quality control practices.Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.Clear communication skills and a collaborative work style.Flexibility to adjust hours as needed to meet production demands.LocationMachesney Park, IL
