ResponsibilitiesIn addition to the duties above, the CT/Diagnostic Tech have the following job responsibilities:Performs myelograms, venograms, arthrograms, and other studies requiring intravenous or Sudbury injection of contrast medium. Assists physicians with studies. Delivers intravenous medication under direct supervision of physicians.Regularly performs the duties and responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist. Performs routine radiographic examinations in accordance with specific operating instructions and safety standards. Assesses patient condition throughout procedure and observes for adverse reactions. Recognizes and responds to emergency situations according to departmental procedures. Must be able to work in a team environment. May be asked to work in another department as needs dictate.Skills and Certifications [note: bold skills and certification are required]Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic TechnologyRegistered CT Technologist from ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT)Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).Registry eligible must be registered as a CT technologist within 6 months of start date.Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians.Ability to insert intravenous catheter.Basic knowledge of cross sectional anatomy.Benefits - FullRelocation Assistance Available - NoCommission Compensation - NoBonus Eligible - NoOvertime Eligible - NoInterview Travel Reimbursed - NoCandidate Details2+ to 5 years experienceSeniority Level - AssociateManagement Experience Required - NoMinimum Education - Bachelor's DegreeWillingness to Travel - AlwaysIdeal Candidate1.
