In this role, you will provide therapeutic care to individuals navigating substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders across detox, residential, and PHP levels of care. As a Therapist, you will:Provide meaningful, patient-centered care in a nationally recognized behavioral healthcare organization committed to transforming lives.Join a clinical organization where therapists are actively invested in and supported through collaborative leadership, mentorship, and hands-on clinical guidance.Receive supervision toward Florida licensure from both LCSW and LMHC Clinical Directors, along with additional mentorship and meta supervision support from executive clinical leadership.Banyan Treatment Centers was named Kipu Health’s 2025 “Innovator of the Year” for operational and clinical innovation designed to reduce administrative burden, improve efficiency, and give clinicians more time to focus on meaningful patient care.Build long-term career growth within a rapidly expanding organization where many therapists have advanced into leadership and operational roles across the company, including within this facility.Work across a full continuum of care supporting both substance use and mental health treatment tracks while gaining experience with diverse clinical presentations and levels of acuity.Serve a patient population with complex clinical, social, and recovery needs during some of the most critical moments in their lives.Be eligible to earn up to a $2,500 performance-based bonus at 4 and 8 months.BenefitsEligible full-time team members receive comprehensive benefits including:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurance and disability coverage401(k) with employer matchPaid time off and holidaysWellness incentives and employee assistance programsKey ResponsibilitiesProvide therapeutic services across substance use and mental health treatment tracks, supporting patients with co-occurring and complex clinical needs.Conduct comprehensive assessments including ASAM evaluations, biopsychosocial assessments, and related clinical evaluations.Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary treatment team.Document and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with regulatory, confidentiality, and program standards.Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions while promoting engagement, accountability, and self-disclosure.Lead process groups and participate in multidisciplinary treatment reviews and clinical staffing meetings.Maintain communication with referral sources, family members, and external support systems regarding patient progress and discharge planning.Coordinate aftercare planning and connect patients with vocational, legal, financial, housing, and community-based resources.Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, and therapeutic support within fast-paced treatment settings.Build therapeutic rapport with patients while maintaining professional boundaries and a structured treatment environment.QualificationsMaster’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related human services field.Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and state/federal confidentiality regulations.Commitment to ethical clinical practice and adherence to the Healthcare Code of Ethics.Ability to work effectively with patients presenting complex clinical and psychosocial needs.PreferredActive Florida license or registered intern credential required: LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Registered Intern; LCSW strongly preferred.Experience working with co-occurring disorders, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care approaches.Previous experience in detox, residential, PHP, or community behavioral health settings preferred.CompetenciesStrong clinical assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and therapeutic intervention skills.Ability to work effectively with co-occurring disorders in a fast-paced behavioral healthcare environment.Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills with attention to compliance and confidentiality standards.Ability to build trust, maintain accountability, and foster therapeutic engagement with diverse patient populations.Committed to trauma-informed, patient-centered care and professional ethical standards.Apply NowReady to make a lasting difference?
