Full Time Sales Receptionist – Automotive (32+ hrs/wk)As our new receptionist, you will be the voice and face of our dealership. Our dealership is a family, and we treat each employee as such.Job DutiesMeet and greet visitors/customers in a professional mannerOperate switchboard telephone systemCommunicate with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time spent on holdTake Precise messages, indicating the caller's first and last name, company name if applicable, time called, and message caller wishes to leaveProvide basic, general information to callers and walk-in visitors Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when interacting with all customers and employeesPerform clerical duties such as typing, proofreading, data entry, filing, photocopying, faxing and sorting mail, sorting license platesDirect clients to lounge and refer clients to appropriate personnel for vehicle status updatesMonitor demo car keys and log demo car reports as appropriateAttend department meetingsAdheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.Job RequirementsMust have a High School Diploma/GEDMust be proficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelPrevious dealership experience preferred, but not required/ and or recent retail receptionist experienceMust be able to work evenings and weekendsAll applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug tests, credit reports, and valid Driver's licensePhysical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
