Get a sneak peek into life at ADESA!Role and TeamReporting to the General Sales Manager (GSM) or designated Manager, the Inside Sales Representative acts as a tactical partner by building and maintaining customer/client relationships in order to grow the auction business. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with assigned customers including individual dealers, dealer groups, institutional accounts and others resulting in auction sales.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain relationships with dealer accounts to drive buying and selling activity, acting as a liaison between dealers, outside sales representatives, and auction personnelProvide prompt, courteous service across phone, email, and in-person interactions, resolving customer concerns professionally and escalating serious issues to management as appropriateConduct outbound sales calls daily to solicit new business, discuss inventory needs, promote upcoming auction events, and educate customers on available servicesConsult with dealers on pricing strategy using market valuation data to improve conversion rates and monitor performance against targetsEducate customers on digital platform tools and services to match their needs to available product offeringsPrepare for and support auction day activities including inventory walkthroughs, dealer engagement, and closing post sale offers.
