divh2Heart Vascular Sonographer/h2pOur client, an Acute Care Medical Facility company, is looking for a Heart Vascular Sonographer for their Cincinnati, OH location./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliPerform noninvasive vascular and/or echo testing and all duties of a Sonographer./liliFollows established testing protocols. Produces highest possible quality study images data by demonstrating competence on and proper use of all imaging and accessory equipment./liliObtains an appropriate history prior to each test with each patient./liliResponsible for seeing that there is supporting information and documentation for the exam being performed./liliEmploys knowledge of the ultrasound technology to determine if an order revision is appropriate and notifies appropriate individual./liliAdequately explains testing procedures to patients, family members as necessary, and hospital staff members connected to the care of the patient./liliDevelop and maintain good relationships with clients and coworkers./liliResponsible for efficient provision of services./liliWorks to ensure a collaborative effort with peers to achieve maximum productivity./liliEffectively schedules addon and emergency exams to maintain work flow./liliCommunicates with the patient care areas to properly prep patients and sends for patients in a timely manner./liliKeeps the assigned areas clean and ensures adequate stock of supplies./liliCommunicates equipment maintenance needs to the Lead and operates equipment safely and properly./liliFollows Quality Control standards and participates in departmental process improvement activities./liliParticipates in Peer Review as requested and other departmental Process Improvement expectations./liliKeeps up to date on new or revised testing protocols and with professional continuing education as required for licensure or certification./liliIs effective in complying with annual hospital and departmental safety, education and in service requirements on a timely basis./liliAttends department meetings and shares responsibility for agenda./li/ulh3Requirements:/h3ulliMust have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written / verbal)./liliDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively with hospital management, physicians and technologists./liliCurrent knowledge of technology and clinical advances related to cardia and/or vascular sonography./liliWorking knowledge of accreditation, credentialing, and quality assurance procedures./liliBasic understanding of imager configuration, DICOM standards, networking and medical records./liliGraduate from an accredited Ultrasound training program/liliMaintain continuing education requirements as set forth by ARDMS, CCI, ICAVL and ICAE./liliARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or CCI Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS)/liliBLS (American Heart Assoc.)/liliRequired: minimum of 2 + years ECHO experience; Registered in modality by CCI or ARDMS./liliLooking for advanced transthoracic echocardiography skills/liliARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), BLS (American Heart Assoc.)/li/ulh3Why Should You Apply?/h3ulliHealth Benefits/liliReferral Program/liliExcellent growth and advancement opportunities/li/ulpICONMA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
