Financial Planning & Analysis Lead

Job Title: Senior Financial Planning Lead Location: Deerfield, IL 60015 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (100% Onsite) Assignment Duration: 4 months Pay Rate: $43.33/hourPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly analytical and detail-driven Senior Financial Planning Analyst to support key business functions through financial reporting, modeling, and strategic analysis. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights that drive business performance and decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the Sales Commission process, including monthly accruals, calculations, and analysis Partner with business leaders to create financial reports that support decision-making Develop and analyze sales, margin, and cost center budgets to ensure realistic growth targets Prepare and analyze income statement forecasts, identifying and explaining budget variances Build and maintain financial models to support business planning and strategy Support compensation plan creation, execution, and reporting for the sales team Participate in revenue recognition testing activities Assist with SOX compliance and financial audit processes as needed Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across finance, sales, and HR QualificationsProven experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) in a similar role Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level required) Experience working with financial models, forecasting, and reporting Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Pay Details: $40.00 to $43.33 per hour Search managed by: Riley Grubbs Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
