Litigation Associate

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our team. In this role, you will manage a caseload of personal injury matters from inception through settlement, advocating for clients and working to secure fair compensation for their injuries.Responsibilities:Manage and strategically litigate a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolutionDraft pleadings, including complaints, motions, oppositions, and other legal documents to support case progressionDraft and respond to discovery, including meet-and-confer correspondence and discovery motionsPrepare for, take, and defend percipient and expert depositionsArgue motions and oppositions in court and at remote hearingsDraft mediation briefs, attend mediations, and actively participate in settlement negotiationsCollaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategy and evaluate case valueCommunicate regularly with clients regarding case updates and developmentsPrepare pre-trial documents and trial materials as neededParticipate in hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedingsSupervise and provide guidance to litigation assistants and paralegalsQualifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolActive membership in the California State Bar and in good standing2+ years of personal injury litigation experience requiredAbility to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively within a teamStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated commitment to client advocacy, professionalism, and integrityExcellent research, analytical, and negotiation skillsCompensation:commensurate with experience and qualificationsBenefits:401(k) retirement planComprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Life insurancePaid time offFree onsite parkingOpportunities for professional growth and advancementWe are an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
