Job#: 3043556Job Description:Senior Java Software Engineer AWS + Connect Apex is seeking a skilled Software Engineering to join our Client's Corporate IT team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive technology expertise to develop innovative solutions in the healthcare industry. As a key member of our Contact Center team, you will contribute to the creation and implementation of enterprise solutions and standards for our AWS cloud IaaS platform, including Amazon Connect integrations.Key Responsibilities:Lead technical design, planning, and management of back-end services and UI developmentDocument and present architectural decisions to team members, peers, and managementProvide architectural guidance to the development teamCollaborate with cross-functional teams to create agile, intuitive, and user-friendly softwareDeliver prototypes, reusable microservice components, and advanced solutionsDesing, implement and maintain Amazon Connect related features and functionalityDevelop complex RESTful services in an Agile development environmentPerform code and design reviews, ensuring adherence to best practicesDesign and implement functional/system integration tests and automationFoster a DevOps culture around automation of builds, testing, deployments, and scalingContribute to SOA standards and conduct impact analysisMentor and train developers, helping to solve technical challengesDrive innovation and creative thinking in solution developmentRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent10+ years of experience as an Architect, Technical Lead, or Software EngineerExpert knowledge of Java (7+) enterprise development and integration middleware3+ years of hands-on application architecture experience for large enterprise solutions7+ years of experience with Java, Spring Core, Spring Integration, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring SecurityExperience with Amazon Connect, including contact flows, queues, routing, Lex Chatbots, CCP, client streams.Extensive web application development experience for high-scale applicationsAdvanced skills in implementing Service APIs (SOAP, REST) with market-leading API Management toolsExtensive experience delivering microservice-based architecture using APIs, containers, and automationAdvanced knowledge of RDBMS SQL (e.g., DB2, Oracle) and Java integration using Spring Data, JPA, HibernateExperience with NoSQL implementations (e.g. AWS DynamoDB)Experience with cloud-based technologies (preferably AWS or Kubernetes with OpenShift)Expert knowledge of data integration solutions in multi-user, multi-platform, multi-tier environmentsExperience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) toolsStrong analytical, communication, and team collaboration skillsProficiency in Agile/SCRUM methodologyPreferred Skills:Experience with Python and NodeJSUnderstanding of Cyara designerKnowledge of front-end technologies: Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScriptHands-on experience with AWS technologies (Lambda, SQS, EC2, ECS, Terraform)Pay Rate: $60-70/hrEverforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
