The ideal candidate will be well-versed in data analysis, visualizations, and data testingScope of ServicesThe scope of services required for the Business Analyst includes:Meeting coordination including agenda development and preparing meeting minutesCollaborating with project managers and cross-functional teamsWorking with business colleagues to understand their processes and data needsCreating business and technical requirement documentation and obtaining stakeholder validation of requirementsActing as liaison between developers and subject matter expertsAnalyzing and formatting data including conducting statistical analysisCollaborating with developers to create dashboards including recommending table and graph designs, naming conventions, and writing definitionsMocking up reports and documenting report logicTesting and cleansing data sets and verifying accuracyReviewing dashboards and reports with business colleagues to elicit their feedbackMinimum Qualifications:The minimum skills and experience required for a candidate to be considered for this position include:A minimum of 3 years' experience working in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Analysis, or a similar fieldA minimum of 1 year experience writing business requirement documents, report design, or similar tasksProficient with Excel and VisioExperience with Tableau (or other visualization software) and SQL preferredKnowledge of the criminal justice system or prior work with judicial system data preferredProfessionalism and flexibility in working relationshipsAbility to set individual priorities, complete work with limited direction, and work in a team environmentConsultants are required to attend their first two days in person in Glastonbury CT. Thereafter, consultants are currently allowed to work 100% remotely with the project manager's approval.
