Our 318-unit apartment community in Norristown is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Service Technician with at least 2 years of general maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting, takes initiative, and delivers outstanding customer service. Strong HVAC and plumbing experience are essential for success in this role.If you're skilled, motivated, and committed to keeping our residents' homes in excellent condition, we want you on our team.As a Maintenance Technician at Morgan Properties, you will:Be responsible for troubleshooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliances, carpentry, electrical, and plumbingFocus on high-volume work orders, appliances, HVAC, and plumbing repairsPerform general repairs including appliance service and basic carpentry workSupport apartment make-readies/turns to prepare units for new residentsMaintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable lawsAssist with grounds and curb appeal, including general upkeep and seasonal responsibilitiesRespond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service ticketsParticipate in a rotating on-call scheduleCommunicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updatesYou will be part of a team consisting of a Service Manager and two Maintenance Technicians, working together to support a large, garden-style community.Compensation & Incentives:$1,200 Sign-On Bonus (paid after hire)Base Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hourUp to 50% Rent DiscountProperty Staff Shared Renewal CommissionsMorgan Essentials: $300 quarterlyOn-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phoneMedical, Dental, and Vision Benefits401(k) Retirement Plan with Company MatchGenerous Paid Time Off, including 10 holidays per year and sick leaveHours & Schedule:Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMPaid rotating on-call participation required (every 3 weeks)Must be available and prepared for emergency eventsSchedule subject to change based on business needsWhat We'll Expect from You:Minimum 2 years of general maintenance or related trades experience requiredHands-on experience with HVAC and plumbing systems requiredExperience with appliance repair and general maintenance troubleshootingComfortable using a smartphone, mobile apps, email, and Teams for work orders and communicationActive, valid driver's license and a personal vehicleMust live within a reasonable distance to support on‐call and emergency responseHVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred#AC4007
