Job DescriptionCDL Delivery Driver – Airline Catering | $24.50/HR | San Diego, CALocation: San Diego, CA (Airport Area)Pay: $24.50 per hour (Weekly Pay)Job Type: Full-Time | PermanentIndustry: Transportation / Logistics / Airline CateringAbout the RoleA leading provider of airline catering and onboard logistics services is seeking experienced CDL Delivery Drivers to support daily flight operations at San Diego International Airport.In this role, you will safely transport catering equipment and supplies between the production facility and aircraft while working directly with airline personnel to ensure flights depart on schedule. This position is ideal for safety-focused, customer-oriented drivers who thrive in a fast-paced airport environment.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate commercial vehicles on airport propertyGather catering equipment and supplies for assigned flightsVerify flight documentation and ensure the correct items are loaded before departingDeliver and load catering equipment onto aircraft according to established proceduresPosition catering vehicles safely at aircraft and operate loading platformsUnload and remove equipment from arriving aircraftDispose of domestic and international waste in accordance with CBP regulationsCommunicate professionally with flight attendants, airline crews, and operations personnelWork closely with team members to resolve operational issues and meet tight flight schedulesFollow all DOT, TSA, airport, company, and safety regulationsRequired QualificationsValid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)Minimum 1 year of recent commercial driving experienceAt least 21 years of ageValid driver's license with a clean driving record (DMV report required at interview)Ability to pass:DOT pre-employment physicalCriminal background checkTSA/Airport security background checkAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishComfortable working in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environmentScheduleFull-time positionOpen availability is requiredMust be available to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as neededShift assignments are based on operational needs and union seniorityOvertime opportunities are offered based on job classification seniorityPhysical RequirementsStand, walk, bend, push, and lift throughout 8+ hour shiftsLift and push up to 50 poundsWork indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsFrequently work around aircraft, noise, and changing temperaturesSafely handle dry ice and other airline catering materialsWear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)BenefitsCompetitive weekly payMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k)Paid Time Off (eligibility based on company policy)Company-provided uniformsAnnual safety shoe allowanceComplimentary employee meals during shiftsApply today to join a growing team supporting one of the nation's busiest airport operations!
