RXR is an active investor in real estate credit, rental housing, commercial property, and property technology through value-added and opportunistic investment strategies.RXR is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Intern to support the Finance team’s treasury and cash management operations. This internship provides hands on exposure to corporate banking administration, internal financial controls, and real estate treasury processes within a dynamic institutional environment.Reporting to the Treasurer, the intern will assist with bank account management, transaction verification, wire confirmations, cost allocations, and vendor reimbursement monitoring. This role is ideal for a current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Accounting who is eager to gain practical experience in corporate treasury and accounting operations.Key AccountabilitiesTreasury OperationsAssist with opening and closing corporate bank accounts.Support administration of bank entitlements and user access controls.Review completed transfers for accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.Confirm wire instructions and maintain organized documentation.Allocate treasury workstation costs across appropriate business units.Monitor and organize the Treasury inbox to ensure timely routing and follow-up.Support oversight of the vendor reimbursement program and related tracking.Financial Controls & Process SupportMaintain accurate electronic records of banking documentation and approvals.Assist with transaction tracking and reconciliation support.Prepare documentation to support internal reviews and audits as needed.Participate in ad hoc treasury and accounting projects to improve efficiency and controls.Core CompetenciesDetail Orientation: Ensures accuracy and completeness in financial transactions and documentation.Accountable: Takes ownership of assigned responsibilities and follows through reliably.Communicates Effectively: Communicates clearly and proactively seeks clarification when needed.Problem Solver: Identifies discrepancies and applies logical thinking to resolve or escalate issues appropriately.Work Under Pressure / Resilience: Maintains accuracy and professionalism when handling time-sensitive financial tasks.Values Driven: Demonstrates integrity and maintains strict confidentiality with sensitive financial information.Experience and EducationCurrent undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance, or related field.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.Availability to work 20–30 hours per week in person at RXR Plaza.CompensationOur interns are paid a competitive $20.00-$25.00 hourly rate of pay.Our Core ValuesWe believe in doing the right thing.
