This position creates value for the facility by performing preventative and corrective maintenance leading to increased uptime and reliability, thus helping the facility to meet their production and quality goals.This position offers a competitive benefits package with a starting hourly rate of $49.712-2-3 schedule: Shifts will be 5am – 5pm or 5pm – 5am; (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off, etc.)THIS ROLE IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR VISA SPONSORSHIPWhat You Will Do In Your RoleAdhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and proceduresHelp to meet or exceed production, waste and quality goals through a quality maintenance programInstall and repair mechanical drives, chains, sprockets, gears, belts, and couplingsElectrical Technician will take electrical troubleshooting calls during production as priority and are required to take mechanical calls as well. New Electrical installations projects are rare.On Down Days, Electrical work orders will be prioritized for electrical Technician but will be required to complete mechanical work orders as well.Perform all maintenance checks and preventive maintenance in a safe and timely mannerUpload/download and research online the necessary software, maintenance and operation manual for equipment pertaining to the business to aid in performing tasksPerform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours/day in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, greasy, and high-volume environmentSupport our safe working environment by maintaining strict adherence to safety rules and regulations and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Willing to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as neededThe Experience You Will BringBasic QualificationsMinimum of 3 years electrical industrial manufacturing experienceExperience performing preventative maintenance and identifying predictive maintenance of equipmentWhat Will Put You AheadElectrical Certification, technical schooling earned or other related educational certifications/degrees.Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry.Experience in PLC – Allen Bradley/SiemensElectrical Schematic/Symbols, Electrical Safe work Practices, voltmeter troubleshooting circuits in series/parallel, AC/DC motors, up to 480 – 3phase volt motorsMechanical: Fasteners, Hydraulics/Pneumatics, Hoisting/Rigging, Alignment/Couplings, Lubrication, Bearings/Seals, Mechanical Drive Systems, Blueprints/Drawings, Precision Measuring Tools, Welding/Fabrication, Pipefitting, Pumps, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, and conveyorsFor this role, we anticipate paying $49.71 per hour.Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
