2ND SHIFT AssemblerThe primary function of the 2ND SHIFT Assembler is to assemble & test components into finished goods following engineering drawings and/or instruction from the Assembly Manager and Assistant Assembly Manager using various tools and fixtures.Essential Functions:Assemble, parts using basic tools, in a timely mannerTest assembled parts using water, air / gas pressureVisually inspect parts during assembly processPerforming duties such as engraving and or packagingMaintain accurate counts of items assembledMust be clean, neat and organizedMust be exceptionally detail orientedUses tablet system to receive & update work ordersMaintain clean working environmentPerform the job with minimal supervisionPerform other assignments as required by the Assembly Manager and Assistant Assembly ManagerQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentBasic Math Skills (measuring, use of calculator)Must be able to interpret diagramsAbility to comprehend basic engineering concepts and units of measure (pressure, length, flow rate, etc.)Ability to read and comprehend work-related materials, instructions, and documentation written in EnglishAbility to communicate effectively in English with team members, supervisors, and othersAbility to follow detailed written and verbal instructions provided in EnglishAbility to understand and complete verbal and written training materials presented in EnglishPhysical Demands:Must frequently lift up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift up to 25 poundsWhen performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger or handle or feel objects and tools or controls, must be able to see, talk and hearSpecific vision abilities require close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Employee is frequently required to reach with hands and armsWork Environment:Riverdale Assembler may work near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to vibrationWill work in a lab environment with engineering equipment and systems that can be dangerous if used improperlyNoise level is usually moderate for a manufacturing plantReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsBenefits: Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP), Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life and AD&D Insurance
