PacePal is looking for an iOS Developer Intern to join our team this summer and help build an app that runners around the world will use on race day.Company DescriptionPacePal helps runners discover races around the world, follow what their friends are signing up for, and find their next challenge. Once you've found your race, PacePal's AI builds you a personalised race-day pacing strategy by analysing course elevation and conditions so your hard work results in a new personal best.Location: RemoteDuration: June – August 2026Compensation: Unpaid — ideal for students or early-career candidates What You'll DoBuild and ship real features in our SwiftUI iOS app — your code will be in the hands of TestFlight users within weeks of joiningOwn the full dev cycle: design, implement, debug on device, write tests, and push builds through TestFlight to the App StoreIntegrate with our Firebase backend (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions) and help shape data models, user flows, and architecture as the app scalesWho You ArePassionate about running Knowledge of iOS Development and frameworks, such as Swift and Objective-CHave shipped at least one iOS app to TestFlight or the App Store Proficient in Swift and SwiftUI; comfortable in Xcode and reading stack traces; bonus points for Firebase, Combine, or Core Location experienceFamiliar with Git and modern mobile dev workflows, and fluent using AI coding tools to ship fasterComfortable working independently in a fast-moving startup environment where you'll own features end-to-endYou can also send your application to careers@pace-pal.com with the following:Your CVA link to at least one iOS app you've shipped (App Store, TestFlight invite, or GitHub repo of a real SwiftUI project)
