Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Waterville, ME Agency: Bluebix Health Inc Pay: $26 to $31 per hour Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Assist Physical Therapists in providing treatment to patients by guiding exercises, monitoring progress, and helping improve mobility and reduce pain. Support patient care, ensure safety during therapy sessions, and maintain accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities: Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist Guide patients through exercises and rehabilitation programs Monitor patient progress and report updates to the Physical Therapist Use therapeutic equipment and techniques to improve mobility and strength Educate patients on exercises and home care routines Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and progress Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning Days: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat Requirements Requirements: Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program Valid PTA license CPR/BLS certification (preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team-oriented healthcare environment
