Summer Intern- MarketingSalary: $12.00-$13.00I. Position PurposeThe Marketing Student Employee supports the marketing team in executing day-to-day activities and strategic initiatives that enhance brand awareness and engagement. This role provides a current student with hands-on experience in marketing by contributing to content creation, social media management, market research, and campaign support. The position is designed to develop practical skills in a professional environment while assisting the team in achieving its communication and marketing objectives.II. Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in creating and scheduling content for social media platformsSupport the development of marketing materials such as flyers, emails, and presentationsConduct market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunitiesHelp maintain and update website contentTrack and report on marketing campaign performance metricsCollaborate with team members on marketing initiatives and eventsProvide general administrative support to the marketing teamIII. Qualifications - Education, Experience, and SkillsMust be currently enrolled as a Hocking College student for the Fall semester.Must be a second-year student.Must meet federal requirements for Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.Strong written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)Basic knowledge of marketing principlesProficiency in Microsoft Office or Google WorkspaceExperience with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or social media scheduling platforms is a plusCreative thinker with attention to detailStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to learn and take initiativeStrong organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Reasonable accommodations may be requested and reviewed according to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
