Oncology Executive Director in Eastern North Carolina! This position is with a university's school of medicine and a large, well-established regional health system. It is a faculty position that includes serving as the executive director of the cancer care center, and is open to BC Medical Oncologists, Gynecologist Oncologist, or a fellowship-trained Surgical Oncologist with 10 years of clinical oncology experience with 7 years of senior leadership experience in an academic or clinical setting. Responsibilities will include leading all essential functions of the cancer hospital scheduled to open in 2018, including clinical, operational, financial, and administrative services. Physician will be responsible for establishing a cancer care delivery model designed to meet the needs of cancer patients. The ideal candidate will be a successful teacher and researcher, an effective supervisor, problem solver, and change advocate.
