Job Title: Solution Architect – JMS 2.0 ProgramLocation: Remote (Occasional travel to Houston) Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead architecture and technical delivery for the JMS 2.0 Program. This is a hands-on role responsible for designing, building, testing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in APIs, event-driven systems, cloud technologies, and AI-enabled solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesLead solution architecture and technical design for the JMS program.Support end-to-end delivery from design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.Design API-first and event-driven architectures.Work with technologies like Kong API Gateway, Kafka, Solace, and MQ.Integrate AI-enabled capabilities such as automation, analytics, and operational insights.Collaborate with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams.Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical guidance when needed.Coordinate with offshore teams and ensure smooth project execution.Support migration and modernization of legacy systems.Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Required Skills & Experience10+ years of overall IT experience.5+ years as a Solution Architect or Senior Technical Lead.Strong experience with:API Gateways (Kong preferred)Event-driven platforms (Kafka, Solace, MQ)AWS CloudSecure architecture design and PII data handlingEncryption and data maskingExperience integrating AI/ML capabilities into enterprise applications.Experience working with DevOps and hybrid onsite/offshore teams.Strong troubleshooting and hands-on technical skills.Experience with migration and modernization projects.Nice to HaveAirline industry experience.Experience applying AI in integration or messaging platforms.Knowledge of data pipelines and analytics.Experience in regulated environments with strong data governance.Soft SkillsExcellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical teams.Strong collaboration with business, product, and engineering stakeholders.Ability to lead teams and provide technical direction.
