HandyTube’s highly experienced engineers provide expertise on new product development through continuous improvement and lean manufacturing and work successfully with customers globally to take products and projects from initial concept to full scale implementation.We are committed to our values, Safety, Quality, Customer Focused and Innovation, and are our guiding principles we live by in everything we do.To find out more about HandyTube, please visit www.handytube.com.PositionReporting to the VP of Sales, the sales intern will support the internal and external sales teams by updating sales records and reports, conducting market research and collaborating cross functionally with various members of the organization to help lead meet HandyTube’s goals.ResponsibilitiesPromote Safety as the Number One Priority of all HandyTube employeesDrive a culture that educates and promotes quality processes and responsibilities for allPerforms market analysis to identify new customers, applications and market trendsUpdates sales records, presentations, spreadsheets and chartsAssists with preparing presentations, power points and documents for customersParticipates in trainings, business meetings and networking opportunitiesMakes suggestions and improvements into sales processMay be asked to perform other duties not listed on this job descriptionRequirementsCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, engineering or similarCollege junior or seniorEffective communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentUses strong, creative critical thinking and problem solving skillsAnalytical- capable of designing experiments, data collection, analysis and interpretationKnowledge of manufacturing processes and willingness to learnAbility to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects and tools, reach with hands and arms, and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 poundsKnowledge and or ability to learn operating measurement equipmentWillingness to spend time on the manufacturing floor and have a hand on approach. Positive attitude, good judgment and excellent time management skillsLess than 15% travel may be requiredMust work a minimum of 20 hours a week for a 10 week internship program
