The Financial Controller will oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and company policies. Daily responsibilities include monitoring accounting records, managing general ledger activities, and coordinating financial reporting cycles. The role involves analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insight to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. The Financial Controller will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support internal controls, and assist with audits and process improvements.Qualifications Strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance, with the ability to apply financial principles in a practical business environment.Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and performing accurate Financial Reporting.Demonstrated Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret financial data, identify variances, and develop actionable recommendations.Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as advanced skills in spreadsheet and data analysis tools.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote work setting.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across different departments.Experience in distribution, logistics, or a similar industry is beneficial but not required.
