Pitch, field produce, write, and fact-check stories across NBC News linear and streaming platforms, including daily news, longform pieces, and cross-platform content.Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.Ability to travel at a moment's notice to cover a story and commit to staying on the road as long as the story takes.Collaborate with control rooms, senior producers, and editorial teams to build rundowns, write intros, and produce live and taped segments.Oversee field operations, including live shots, remote anchor setups, and breaking news coverage.Work closely with editors to ensure high-quality video packages, graphics, and sound.Partner with Standards & Legal to ensure all content adheres to editorial and corporate guidelines.Contribute ideas for a wide range of content including news-of-day, lifestyle features, celebrity interviews, and human-interest stories.Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience.Minimum 5 years' experience in network news, cable, or talk show production, including live and taped segments.Strong journalistic writing, research, and editorial judgment skills.Experience shooting (DSLR or similar) and editing (Avid and/or Adobe Premiere).Must be willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime with short notice.Must be able to travel frequently, domestically and internationally.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. xevrcycmedical, dental and vision insurancetuition reimbursement
