Job Title: Anesthesiologist - Gastroenterology ProceduresJob type: Full Time (Contract to Hire)Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 2:00 PMPosition Overview:We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist to join our outpatient gastroenterology team. The primary responsibility will be to administer anesthesia for upper and lower endoscopic procedures in a high-efficiency, patient-centered setting.This is an excellent opportunity for an anesthesiologist seeking predictable daytime hours, no nights or weekends, and a collaborative clinical environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide anesthesia services for routine upper and lower GI endoscopies (e.g., colonoscopy, EGD).Perform pre-operative evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans.Monitor patients throughout procedures and during recovery.Ensure patient safety, comfort, and effective sedation.Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists, nurses, and clinical staff.Maintain accurate and timely documentation.Qualifications:MD or DO from an accredited medical school.Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.Active and unrestricted state medical license.Current BLS and ACLS certification.Prior experience in outpatient GI anesthesia preferred but not required.
