This includes leading a team of Maintenance Technicians with varying skillsets, who perform repairs and report issues. The Supervisor is self-motivated and can work under time constraints to meet the needs of the production department.Key Responsibilities:Safety & Compliance:Provide a safe work environment and ensure all safety and environmental policies are being followedSupervision & Leadership:Supervise and coordinate a team of 8 technicians; assign daily work orders and monitor progress to ensure qualityHire and train maintenance technicians including contractorsConduct regular performance reviews of the maintenance teamPartner with Operations and EHS to establish daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance prioritiesTechnical Troubleshooting:Troubleshoot complex electrical systems (PLCs, motors, transformers) ensuring proper repair techniquesAssist and lead with repairs on various equipment to ensure production meets operational goalsPreventative Maintenance (PM):Develop and implement proactive maintenance schedules for PLC systems, high-voltage distribution and industrial machinery to minimize downtimeCreate and track work ordersIdentify and present significant maintenance needs to upper managementBudgeting & Purchasing:Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, order critical spare parts, and coordinate with vendors or outside contractorsPerform other duties as requested , QualificationsBasic Qualifications:Advanced computer skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)Ability to solve problems, communicate and work well within multiple teamsStrong leadership and teambuilding skillsDeep knowledge of electrical schematics, blueprints, industrial networking, and automation systemsAbility to read and interpret safety, operating, and maintenance procedure manualsProficient in forklift operation with the ability to obtain a forklift licenseAbility to work full-time Monday-Friday with weekend availability as neededAbility to meet specific vision requirements including but not limited to; close/distance vision, and depth perceptionWork Environment:The Supervisor operates in various environments requiring PPE to be worn as outlined by EHS and OSHA. In this position, you will be exposed to working areas with various noise and weather conditions.PPE requirements consist of, but are not limited to:Metatarsal ShoesSafety GlassesCut-Resistant GlovesHearing ProtectionHard HatOther PPE as necessary depending on the areaThis position reports to 1701 W.
