Word Processor - Charlotte
Word ProcessorWinstead PC is seeking an experienced Word Processor to join our Charlotte office. This role provides high-level document production support with a strong emphasis on document automation for complex transactional matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, edit, and format a variety of legal transactional documents (loan agreements, closing binders, financing documents, etc.)
Design, update, and maintain automated document templates using Microsoft Word and other platforms as needed
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to implement document automation solutions to streamline workflow
Maintain confidentiality and uphold data security standards
Proofread documents for grammatical, typographical, and formatting errors
Troubleshoot document issues and provide technical support
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a legal environment, preferably in real estate finance or transactional law
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, including track changes, advanced formatting, and template creation
Experience with Contract Express, HotDocs, or similar document automation tools
Familiarity with document management systems (NetDocuments preferred)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a high-volume environment
Detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively with attorneys and staff
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to learn new software and adapt to evolving workflows
