Emergency Vehicle Technician/HEM in CUBA

Overview We are seeking a skilled Emergency Vehicle Technician/HEM for CUBA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing heavy EVT machinery, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. The Emergency Vehicle Technician/Heavy Equipment Mechanic will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by keeping our fleet of machinery in optimal condition. Duties Diagnoses and repairs complex mechanical issues on Fire & Ambulance trucks. Performs preventative maintenance work. Participates in ordering fleet parts. Prepares various types of fleet maintenance records and documentation. Assists in maintaining shop facilities and equipment. Performs other mechanical related duties. Provides customer support and quality assurance. Maintains service logs and records of fire truck apparatuses. Keeps tools equipment and work area clean organized and in good working condition. Provides 24/7 on-call fleet maintenance support for assigned shift. Qualifications High School Graduate Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. Emergency Vehicle Technician LV I , must meet the qualifications as defined in NFPA 1071 Standard for Emergency Vehicle Technician Professional Qualifications for EVT I. Automotive Services Excellence (ASE) T1 Thru T7_ EVT Exam F1 Experience Five - Eight (5-8) years' progressive professional experience on fire trucks, firefighting apparatus or heavy transport vehicles, within a large city fire department, must have progressed to EVT LV III.
