Construction Estimator
Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy.Employees | Value | Execution | RelationshipsJOB SUMMARYEstimators provide technical estimation of electrical projects from bid preparation through job close out documentation to the customer.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSA working knowledge of electrical construction and theory at a level normally acquired through completion of an electrical training program, two-year technical or business degree or related field; and5 years' experience as an electrical estimator.KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIESExcellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.Demonstrated conceptual estimates and financial analytical skills.Excellent oral and written communications skills.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESQuantity takeoff.Quantity takeoff entry into estimating software.Solicitation and review vendor and subcontractor quotations.Review current material pricing levels.Review and estimate addenda as required.Visit site and/or attend site walk meeting.Review bid/construction schedule.Draft and submit proposal documents.Follow post bid closeout procedures.Attend weekly estimating team meetings.Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSConstruction management degree.Experience in the construction industry.COMPENSATION & BENEFITSMedical, dental, and vision insurance.Company paid term life insurance and AD&D coverage.401k retirement plan with employer match and company contribution.PTO accrual of up to 120 hours in a full year (subject to plan terms thereafter).7 company paid holidays.ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONRequired to maintain a valid driver's license.Requires travel: Minimal (up to 10%).Background check, credit check, MVR and drug screen may be required (will vary by position).Equal opportunity employer.Everus Construction Group, Inc. and our subsidiaries do not work with any third-party recruiters or agencies without a valid signed agreement and partnership with the Corporate Human Resources Team.APPLICATION DEADLINE - 05/31/2026JOIN THE OEG TEAMOEG is one of the top electrical contractors on the West Coast.
