Job Description Join Our Team as a Locum Physician - Diagnostic Radiology with Mammography Privileges in Grass Valley, CAExciting Opportunity for a skilled Diagnostic Radiologist to provide essential imaging services in a dynamic outpatient setting. Your expertise will directly impact patient care through the interpretation of mammograms, breast biopsies, and other radiological studies, supporting a high-quality healthcare environment.Required Skills: Valid medical license and certification in Radiology Board-certified or eligible in Radiology Proven experience in diagnostic radiology, particularly mammography Proficient in interpreting mammograms, PET scans, and performing breast biopsies Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably Cerner Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaborate with support staff Nice to Have Skills: Experience reading PET, CT, MRI, ultrasound, or X-ray studies Familiarity with teleradiology practices and protocols Additional credentials in specialized imaging modalities Experience working in outpatient clinical environments Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Completion of radiology residency program Minimum of 2 years of post-residency radiology practice, ideally with mammography and biopsy experience Other Requirements: Credentialing approval within 90-120 days Travel accommodations from local providers preferred; no flights required Willingness to cover approximately 2 weeks per month, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm Participation in orientation with pay rate of $300-325 for the first 8 hours, then $600-650/hour Availability during holiday periods with appropriate pay premiums This is an excellent opportunity to apply your radiology expertise in a supportive outpatient environment while enjoying competitive pay rates and comprehensive benefits.
