Job DescriptionBCBA - Board Certified Behavior Analyst to work 10am-6pm Monday through Friday. No travel required!Bluestone Children’s CenterBluestone Children’s Center is looking for a talented, passionate BCBA to join our team in Livonia, MIBluestone Children’s Center first opened its doors in October 2018 and is growing! We are a clinical ABA program designed within a preschool-style setting. Our clinic offers on-site ABA for children ages 0-12 along with speech, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. We are now looking to expand our team of clinicians for the afternoon and after-school ABA in-clinic program!The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides therapy and oversight to clients and leadership to front line therapists of Bluestone. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading parent consultation sessions, parent training sessions, and conducting staff supervision to graduate students obtaining hours toward supervision.COMPETENCIESProficient Communication SkillsCustomer Service SkillsFollowing policies and procedures within Bluestone handbookEthical PracticeCritical Evaluation and ability to exercise common senseMajor Duties And ResponsibilitiesConducts initial intake assessments and tours potential clients and/or their familiesConducts thorough, functional behavior assessments and develops intensive and effective behavior intervention plansCompletes billable treatment planning hours with clientsCompletes insurance documentation to submit to insurance company for pre-authorization and reauthorization of servicesEngages treatment teams and clients with cooperation, collaboration and teamworkCompletes data analysis, graphs, and develops and updates FBA /BIPs on as needed basisModels, coaches and provides feedback regarding interactions, programs and behavior during one-on-one and/or group parent training sessions as requestedCreates research-based curriculum that is measurable and effective in teaching objectives for individuals and groups on a weekly basisConducts individual or group staff training on clinical or child related matters as directed by supervisor and provides supervision for fellow team members working toward their certificationParticipates in and completes mandatory training for clinical requirements and to comply with Certification and Licensing requirements to maintain credential and to be in good standingAssists with tracking of attendance and late arrivals of staff and clients on a daily basis and informs supervisor as neededModels, coaches and provides positive and constructive feedback to Behavior TherapistsIdentifies and introduces new ideas and solutions to create efficiency in the operationHas a high attention to Health and Safety and puts this as the priority at all times and notifies Directors of any concerns immediatelyMaintains appropriate boundaries with staff and clients as evidenced through observation and feedbackEnsures case load is making significant progress with minimum problem behaviorsPerforms other duties as requiredGroup BenefitsBluestone Children’s Center offers Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, and an Employee Assistance Program. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. This role may occasionally encounter patients with severe problem behavior in the form of aggression, property destruction, self-injurious behaviors and/or self-stimulatory behaviors.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodations.
