Senior Program Manager V📍 Minnetonka, MN (Hybrid – 3 days/week, Tues/Wed/Thurs)📄 Contract-to-HireAbout the RoleWe're looking for a Program Manager to lead and manage one or more cross-departmental transformation programs aligned with our strategic plan, regulatory requirements, new product development, or operational initiatives. This role provides oversight to project managers and teams within the program(s) and owns overall program performance, including timing, budget, and quality of scope. Programs may involve evaluating and/or implementing new services, systems, or business process improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram ExecutionPartner with business stakeholders to define and understand program scope, milestones, and business outcomes; support development of business cases with Finance, Technology, and business ownersIdentify and manage resource requirements against budget constraints, reassessing on a regular cadenceParticipate in Program Increment (PI) Planning, System Demos, and Solution Demos to ensure alignment across ARTs and business divisionsTrack and report on program progress to key stakeholders, including steering committees and portfolio managementDevelop and maintain a critical path, business milestones, and timeline in partnership with business representatives and Product ManagementEnsure coordination and synchronization of program activities across all functions (business readiness, communications, process design, technology delivery, etc.)Manage executive stakeholder communications, including preparation and facilitation of Executive Steering CommitteesEnsure transparency and resolution of dependencies, issues, and risksSupport Product Managers, Product Owners, and Business Readiness representatives in managing deliverable expectationsHold teams accountable for commitments; serve as an escalation point and help remove obstaclesOwn financial management for assigned programs, partnering with Finance and Portfolio Management as neededRelationship & Team LeadershipCollaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including vendorsOrganize, motivate, and lead cross-functional work teams across operating areasCoach and support a team of project managers throughout their project life cyclesProvide guidance and leadership when project managers encounter barriersQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience8+ years of related experience, including 3+ years managing complex, cross-departmental programs and teams of project managersExperience managing program budgets of $1M+Experience managing cross-functional teams of 10–50+ people, including executive stakeholders, business owners, technology owners, change managers, and operational readiness/training staffEnd-to-end program management experience, including Agile delivery methodologiesStrong executive communication skills, with experience creating executive-level status reports and presentationsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environmentPreferredPMP certificationHealthcare experience, particularly in a payer environmentExperience with Smartsheet
